At PB Fitness the massage treatment is tailored to suit and involves a range of techniques from passive stretching, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, frictions, deep friction massage, petrissage and myofasical release as well as the traditional deep massage strokes.
It need not be painful either as I take the approach of working within your pain threshold (as long as you tell me!) because if you are relaxed your body will work best with my techniques and me.
A sports massage is manipulating soft tissue to improve or enhance range of movement, breaking down adhesions, scar tissue, or damage sites within a muscle, tendon or ligament.
